This year has been filled with one blessing after another as being a very spiritual person I see the good in so very much, and strive to be a good man no matter what.
So I thought I would share some insights into the person of Clayton.

Well this year I exhibited a body of work that was a joy to do in so very many
ways. All in watercolour, the paintings were mainly of nature scenes of Trinidad
from flowering trees to vistas of the beautiful island called after the Trinity. At present 7 paintings have been sold in that collection, and I would like to let those who visit this site know that one painting will be air marked for the support of an Aids Hospice here in Trinidad.

So the sale of that particular painting will carry the red ribbon at the side of it and the proceeds will go to that hospice which is run by a lay organization here in Trinidad. Every year I like to give a piece or more to some form of charity or organization. Last year the painting of the Leper Colony was donated to the Dominican Sisters who have worked tirelessly here in Trinidad. It was indeed a joy to see some 30 sisters of all ages receive this painting, which can be viewed in the Shadows of
Yesterday gallery. Many of those sisters having worked at that Leper Colony came into the order knowing of the importance of that refuge which helped and cared for the outcast of society in those days. Hence this year the reason to place the red ribbon on one of my paintings is to donate it towards the caring for people suffering from the AIDS virus. It is always so good to give a work of your hands to a society that looks after the well being of others, so take a look at the Trinidad 2007 gallery and see which one I have carded for this cause.

The exhibition will remain online at www.create3d.com where the paintings can be purchased and where the prints all the Trinidad paintings can be made by ordering through that site. Pixel Art - the company making these prints - is using a very high
resolution print which is guaranteed to remain fade proof for over 75 years.

The 2006 gallery, Shadows of Yesterday will remain up for those who are interested in viewing paintings of old Colonial homes. Most of them have been sold, the most recent one to be bought was Bagshot House which was a rather large piece.
Many have asked if I take commissions to do old homes and the answer is Yes!
I work not only in watercolour but also in acrylics and my next exhibition will be of miniatures and some larger pieces in both mediums. My theme I will not share for now, but I have one already and have already begun to work on it. So do keep looking for updates on my website as I will indeed reveal to you the work as I go along.

Clayton
